Lou is the President and founder of Heritage Financial Advisory Group. He has more than 30 years’ experience in investment management, financial planning, and tax consulting. He built the firm through a meticulous work ethic, dedication to his clients, and a commitment to education. He prides himself on being a consolidated resource for all his clients’ financial needs. He is committed to providing his clients with a superior level of service and advice, and takes the time to fully understand his clients’ personal and financial situations.
He received his B.B.A. from Iona College, and after graduation began working for Ernst & Whinney (NYC) as an auditor. During his early years in the profession, Lou gained valuable insight and experience while working with various types of clients, focusing on investment management, financial planning and portfolio strategies. Lou is also a C.P.A., and by utilizing his experience it enables him to create tax efficient portfolios for his clients.
Lou is married and has two children. Lou’s wife Judy manages the office and is the Director of Client Services. Lou’s son Mike, a Financial Advisor, is an integral part of the Heritage Financial Advisory Group. Lou’s daughter Kristi, a graduate of Clemson University, currently lives in Georgia and also works in the financial services industry. Lou enjoys boating, fishing and biking in his free time. He is also a member of the Ronkonkoma Rotary Club and regularly participates in the club’s community service activities.

As a financial advisor, Mike serves as a wealth management resource to business owners and executives, assisting them in making proactive, personal financial decisions. Mike’s vision is to help clients live for today, as well as plan for tomorrow. He believes in making the complicated simple, by educating his clients so they can feel more confident about the decisions they make regarding their financial health. He believes that every individual’s financial situation is unique, and is dedicated to spending time getting to know his clients on a personal level. By establishing a close relationship with his clients, Mike strives to anticipate their needs before they realize that a need exists.
As the firm’s Director or Portfolio Management, Mike works closely with Lou, developing and implementing portfolio strategies, as well as monitoring the firm’s unique proactive management approach.
Mike has been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies™, the standards-setting body for fi360. The AIF designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. Mike is committed to always doing what is in the best interest of the client.
Mike is also very active within his community. He is a member of the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce, BNI Meadows Edge which is a business networking group, and the Kiwanis Club of Sayville. In his free time he enjoys working out, playing golf, and participating in competitive sports. Mike is also a Certified Official for high school boy’s basketball, and volunteers his time each spring to officiate the annual Special Olympics basketball tournament held in Westhampton Beach.

Judy is the Director of Client Services and plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the firm. She adds value for clients by exceeding their expectations and creating a company culture that puts our firm a step above the rest. Her responsibilities include overseeing client relations and service, with a focus on ensuring clients have a positive experience. She effectively manages the office and the team’s day to day administrative details.
In addition, Judy is also a registered representative, which enables her to work closely with clients. She is involved in the preparation of paperwork, maintaining the company database, preparing client reports, as well as implementing office procedures to ensure the office runs efficiently. She prides herself on providing exceptional and personal client service.
Judy enjoys keeping active through daily exercise workouts such as aerobics, weight training and enjoying scenic walks in her community. She also enjoys spending time with her children and helping them achieve their own personal goals.

Kristi is an associate Financial Advisor for the firm and plays an integral role in assisting the advisors in their day to day responsibilities. She is responsible for market research, performance reporting, and the development of financial plans. Kristi utilizes her industry experience to ensure clients have a memorable experience working with Heritage.
Kristi is a graduate of Clemson University where she studied Finance and Accounting. She enjoys being active through CrossFit and running.

Chris joined Heritage Financial in the spring of 2016. He is responsible for the marketing, communications and business development efforts of the firm. In addition to strategic marketing efforts, he directs media relationships, social media strategies, content production and distribution, events and more. He effectively managed rebranding efforts and supported logo and website development efforts for the firm. With a focus on client experience, Chris works to develop the right tools, campaigns and all marketing efforts to help communicate Heritage’s unique value and premier service. A graduate of State University of New York at Cortland, Chris earned a degree in Communication Studies with focuses in Advertising and Public Relations. Chris enjoys exercising, spending time with his family and reading on the American Revolution.
