Lou is the President and founder of Heritage Financial Advisory Group. He has more than 30 years’ experience in investment management, financial planning, and tax consulting. He built the firm through a meticulous work ethic, dedication to his clients, and a commitment to education. He prides himself on being a consolidated resource for all his clients’ financial needs. He is committed to providing his clients with a superior level of service and advice, and takes the time to fully understand his clients’ personal and financial situations.
He received his B.B.A. from Iona College, and after graduation began working for Ernst & Whinney (NYC) as an auditor. During his early years in the profession, Lou gained valuable insight and experience while working with various types of clients, focusing on investment management, financial planning and portfolio strategies. Lou is also a C.P.A., and by utilizing his experience it enables him to create tax efficient portfolios for his clients.
Lou is married and has two children. Lou’s wife Judy manages the office and is the Director of Client Services. Lou’s son Mike, a Financial Advisor, is an integral part of the Heritage Financial Advisory Group. Lou’s daughter Kristi, a graduate of Clemson University, is also a member of the Heritage Team, and serves as an associate financial advisor. Lou enjoys spending time in the outdoors, and is an avid motorcycle rider. He has traveled over 50,000 miles across the country on his Harley Davidson Road King Classic. He is also a member of the Small Business Networking Alliance, and the Ronkonkoma Rotary Club. Lou enjoys participating in the club’s community service activities.

Mike is an entrepreneur and the Vice President of Heritage Financial Advisory Group, serving executives and high net worth clients from various industries and backgrounds across the country.
Mike is the Director of Portfolio Management and has been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies, the standards-setting body for fi360. He has crafted the unique portfolio strategies and the firm’s bold proactive management approach, which has initiated tremendous growth for the firm over the last 5 years.
With the best interest of the client always at hand and realizing needs before they exist, Mike challenged himself and his team at Heritage to create a brand that could help the masses through clear and consistent communication and tactics. In house, Mike headed the development of the Ask The Advisor brand in which did just that, help people of all ages and backgrounds get access to financial education in the year we actually live in.
Ask The Advisor has grown from a weekly Q&A Show native to Facebook into a niche media brand that helps our growing audiences with financial tips through our “ATA Roadmaps”, weekly Show, content marketing and engaging social content. Helping our audiences get this vital information for free then learn how to actually apply it.

Mike is married to Danielle and resides in St. James, NY. Mike is very active within his community. He is a member of the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce, Business Networking International, The Pink Tie Organization, and the Kiwanis Club of Sayville. In his free time he enjoys exercise, playing golf, travel, and participating in competitive sports. Mike is also a Certified Official for college basketball, and is proud to volunteer each spring to officiate the annual Special Olympics basketball tournament held in Westhampton Beach.

Judy is the Director of Client Services and plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the firm. She adds value for clients by exceeding their expectations and creating a company culture that puts our firm a step above the rest. Her responsibilities include overseeing client relations and service, with a focus on ensuring clients have a positive experience. She effectively manages the office and the team’s day to day administrative details.
In addition, Judy is also a registered representative, which enables her to work closely with clients. She is involved in the preparation of paperwork, maintaining the company database, preparing client reports, as well as implementing office procedures to ensure the office runs efficiently. She prides herself on providing exceptional and personal client service.
Judy enjoys keeping active through daily exercise workouts such as cardio, weight training and enjoying scenic walks in her community. She also enjoys spending time with her children and helping them achieve their own personal goals.

Chris is the Chief Relationship Manager for Heritage, utilizing his excellent communication skills, good judgement, and the ability to take initiative to foster long lasting and successful client relationships. In his day to day activities, he works directly with the advisory team and executes strategic plans for each client. He does this by outlining their ideal communication model, specific goals and objectives and service opportunities to bring maximum value to each client relationship. With strong attention to detail, he tracks all details on client interactions with the goal of enhancing service capabilities and the overall client experience. On top of existing client groups, he has a clear focus on identifying and coordinating new business opportunities with other senior team members. Chris also co-chairs our marketing division, creating and producing client-facing touch points including the Heritage advisory council, client appreciation events, and educational content. In his personal time, Chris is on the Executive Leadership Team for the Hampton’s Heart Ball, an annual gala in Southampton raising money for the American Heart Association. He is also a member of the NY Historical Society and Museum.

Laura is a Financial and administrative Assistant for the firm and plays an integral role in assisting the advisors in their day to day responsibilities. She is responsible for market research, performance reporting, and assists in the development of financial plans. As the first and last person clients see when visiting the office it is her goal to ensure each client has a positive and memorable experience working with Heritage.
Laura currently attends Bentley University in Massachusetts where she studies finance. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with friends & family, and playing tennis.

As Chief Happiness Officer, Teddy provides the Heritage team and client’s positive vibes and cheer with his joyful nature and eagerness to interact with everyone. He loves walks on the beach and playing with his toys. Teddy currently resides with the Desepoli family and when he is not in the office, he primarily works from home.
